Zeta Zeta is working on rebuilding its numbers while maintaining the high recruitment standard Lambda Chi Alpha prides itself upon. We currently have 74 actives, with a strong majority coming from the sophomore and freshman classes. The last three classes total up to 50 members, with 19 in fall 2015, nine in spring 2016, and 22 in our newest fall 2016 class. Having this youth majority within the chapter has allowed for a new and positive change in culture.
This culture change has brought with it a commitment from all members to get through the remediation plan and set the foundation for the chapter to move forward as a whole. Additionally, the smaller junior class is made up of a group of impactful brothers who have persevered through the tougher times at Zeta Zeta, taken their experiences, and have strived to become excellent mentors for the youth of the house.
There are currently 34 actives living in the chapter house, down from 39 in the fall due to juniors studying abroad. This is a huge increase from last year, where the chapter only had 20 members living in the house in spring 2016. With a newly elected High Zeta Board, the chapter is looking to finally accomplish all its goals set forth by the remediation plan and bring with it a commitment to the Zeta Zeta that will keep the house on the right path for years to come.
