The outing in memory of Brother Charlie Zendt will be held on Saturday, July 21, at the Mountain View Country Club in Boalsburg. Last year, we had 25 golfers and 37 for dinner back at the chapter house. We would love to see a larger group this year!
Tee time is set for 1:30. The format will be a scramble with a partial shotgun start. Last year we were able to donate excess funds in the amount of $250 to Habitat for Humanity of Center County. The organization to receive the donation was chosen by Anne Stover, Charlie’s wife.
We will have a block of rooms reserved at a local hotel, and there may be an option of staying at the chapter house. More to come about that.
Please note, this event is not only for Lambda Chi brothers; spouses are encouraged to attend and friends are welcome to participate! You do not have to golf to hang out for the weekend and attend the dinner. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with your brothers and enjoy a fun event.
