Remembering Traditions

Current Nittany Lions may miss out on many of the things we loved about our Penn Stateexperience. But in the midst of these unfortunate cancellations, we suggest looking back on better days. In remembering our traditions, we reassure ourselves that someday they will return, for us and future generations of Nittany Lions to enjoy. Click “Read More” for a look back on some of our PSU traditions.

Help us Find Missing Brothers

As Penn State continues to issue announcements about fall semester in the face of COVID-19, we need our Alumni to remain informed and involved. You can help our Brotherhood stay strong and connected by providing missing contact information for members of Zeta. Click “Read More” to see if a Brother you know is on our lost list.

Lambda Chi Penn State Fall Plan

The Board of Directors of our chapter met recently to review the COVID-19 situation and made the tough decision to close the house for the fall semester in order to protect the health and safety of our current members and associates. See our letter to the undergraduates and their parents HERE.

Why LXA?

We all know the impact Greek life has—we lived it. ‘Social fraternity’ might give a superficial impression of our Greek experience. But research shows that friendships are the key to happiness. Click “Read More” to read quotes from LXA brothers about why Greek life is vital to higher education.

Penn State’s Fall 2020 Plan

While some Pennsylvania colleges, including Edinboro and Lafayette, have reversed their decisions, Penn State is currently sticking to its original plan to bring all students back to campus this fall. The semester begins August 24, but campus-based, residential instruction will end Friday, Nov. 20, with the remainder of the semester — including final examinations — being delivered remotely and online when classes resume after Thanksgiving break on Nov. 30. 5th Annual Charlie Zendt Golf Outing

Several alumni and their significant others participated in our annual golf outing.  As always, a donation was made in Charlie’s name to Habitat for Humanity of Centre County, a charity selected by his family.  While participation was limited due to COVID-19, we look forward to a larger group attending next year.
