Alumni Critical to Long-Term Success of Zeta Zeta

I think Bret is on point with a number of issues. We have a great bunch of men in the house at this point. This group has been very receptive to alumni involvement and I attribute that to alumni leadership. Times have changed and the fraternity cannot exist as it did when we were students. Currently there is a huge negative public perception in State College about the Greek system due to the recent death at Beta Theta Pi.

I think continued alumni involvement is critical to long-term success of Zeta Zeta. Alumni can’t be active only when problems arise. We must be involved to maintain the new course to ensure that the future leaders of the fraternity carry the same level of character as the current men.

Finding the time to be involved is not always easy. I can say the few times I have had the time have been very rewarding. First, I am inspired by how hard our High Zeta worked. Secondly, it has been awesome to connect with older brothers. It is funny how we all look older and have mellowed but still have the same personalities and share a bond that is worth fighting for.
