A Lifelong Commitment to 351 Fairmount

The excitement of welcoming nearly 50 brothers and associate members back to campus this fall—21 of whom will reside in our house—can’t be overstated. After the past two years of uncertainty and change, they will embark on the opportunity we hold so dear as alumni: to make lifelong friendships and share some of the best times of their lives at 351 Fairmount Avenue. Together with us, our loyal alumni brotherhood, they will help to shape the future of the fraternity and continue to chart the course for future generations.

Thanks to your generosity, we have maintained our house over nearly a century and even paid off our $400,000 mortgage in 2019. In 2017, we renovated the first-floor bathroom. This is thanks to your past support.

Assuring that Lambda Chi Alpha continues to thrive is not a singular event; it’s a lifelong commitment and a responsibility that we share as alumni. As you know, we are striving toward a major milestone in 2025: the 100th anniversary of our house. Critical projects have been identified and we are working to gain the financial support to make them happen.

You can make the goals of this effort a reality by finding a way to get involved:

  • Help to complete our current project by contributing toward a $25,000 roof replacement match. A generous brother has offered a $25,000 donation match, covering half the cost. With donations and pledges to date, we have $17,500 and need just $7,500 to meet the goal. Your gift before September 30 will make it happen so we can raise our roof before the weather turns.
  • Consider a commitment that will advance one or more projects on our priority list. Next in line for renovation and updating are the second and third floor bathrooms along with others improvements.

The experiences we shared and friendships we formed live on in precious memories and lasting relationships, and in the character and leadership you display every day. Honor these unique benefits you enjoy as a Lambda Chi by considering a gift toward the roof replacement match or the overall campaign project.
